Rodolfo liprandi

Nature has always played a central role in Liprandi's life and art.
It is the foundation of his personal artistic quest, driven by a deep connection to the landscape he comes from.

Already during his studies, he became particularly fascinated by Land Art – an art form where nature is at the center, and the human presence steps back. He chose to immerse himself in this field to challenge himself and find a balance between leaving his own mark and adapting to nature’s shapes and materials.

Throughout his career, he has continued to develop his expertise in Land Art and site-specific installations, often working with natural materials. He has also gained substantial experience in the practical execution of artworks in both natural and cultural landscapes.

Since 2018, Liprandi has primarily worked in public spaces. He has collaborated with institutions, nature reserves, and organizations involved in cultural outreach and environmental protection. His installations aim to raise awareness and convey respect for nature – both its biodiversity and the landscapes that surround us.

Rodolfo Liprandi was born in Trieste, in the far northeast of Italy, in the border region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
He grew up between the Karst Plateau and the lowlands of Friuli, spending his first twenty years there. In 2013, he completed his education at the Max Fabiani School of Arts in Gorizia.

He then moved to Bologna, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 2018 and a master’s degree in sculpture in 2021 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. During the 2019–2020 academic year, he also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Warsaw – the city where he now lives and works.
